SECI (India Solar) is responsible for the J&K project being promoted by the Ministry of Renewable Energy. Its size matches its location in Ladakh's 5,000 megawatts (MW) and Calgary's 2,500 MW and will be completed in 2023. The estimated investment is Rs. 45,000 crore.

SECI Supervisor (Power System) stated, "weThe problems encountered in the previous tender have been resolved and the challenging geographical location has been taken into account. ”
