CPIA: 2014 first half of the Chinese crystal wafer shipments 18.0GWp

China Photovoltaic Industry Alliance (CPIA)The latest data show that the first half of 2014, China solar grade siliconcrystals total shipments for 18.0GWp, an increase of 20%.
The report notes that in the first half,China solar grade silicon crystals exported nearly 24 countries and regions, atotal of 4.6GWp, total value of $ 1.112 billion, of which the proportion ofTaiwan, Korea and Malaysia's total exports accounted for 63.5%, respectively,10.9% and 10.4%. In addition, total shipments of solar grade polysiliconcontains 3.1GWp and 1.3GWp monocrystalline silicon wafers.
According to the report revealed that inthe first half, China export of crystalline silicon solar cells over 92countries and regions, a total of 1.4GWp, total value of $ 520 million,including the value of South Korea, the United States and Canada were $ 138million, $ 119 million and $ 094 million.
PV module manufacturers in mainland Chinaduring the first half 2014 exports 9.5GWp, total value of $ 6.6 billion,including Japan, the United States and Europe shipments were 2GWp ($2370000000), 2GWp ($ 1.35 billion) and 1.9GWp ($ 1.34 billion).
