The complete off-grid photovoltaic and energy storage system consists of photovoltaic modules, a lithium-ion battery storage system, an off-grid inverter, an intelligent power distribution unit, and an IoT gateway monitoring module. Solar photovoltaic panels are installed on the top of the waterborne pontoon; during daylight hours, these panels fully capture sunlight and convert it into electrical energy—part of this energy is directly supplied to the station's equipment (e.g., office systems, communication devices, and monitoring and security equipment), while the surplus energy is stored in a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. During nighttime or cloudy/rainy conditions when sunlight is limited, the storage batteries release stored energy to maintain continuous power supply, enabling a model of "self-generation and self-consumption with surplus energy storage," thereby ensuring uninterrupted power supply around the clock.


The system is equipped with Ipandee rack-mounted lithium iron phosphate (LFP) energy storage batteries featuring high-safety LFP cells, designed to withstand challenging outdoor environments with high humidity and significant temperature variations. The rack-mounted design facilitates easy integration and installation into existing cabinets. Each battery is equipped with a built-in BMS (Battery Management System) that provides multiple layers of protection against overcharging, overdischarging, short circuits, and high temperatures, ensuring the long-term stable operation of border surveillance stations.
The integrated smart inverter control unit enables AC/DC power conversion, meeting the AC/DC power supply requirements for station monitoring systems, communication equipment, and office & residential applications; the IoT gateway module allows for remote monitoring of photovoltaic power generation, battery State of Charge (SOC) status, and equipment operating parameters, facilitating remote visualized equipment maintenance and operation – enabling real-time monitoring of the entire power supply system's operational health status even in remote aquatic environments.
